I was tasked with a number of things during my internship with AROA Magazine or “A Round of Applause” Magazine. One of the tasks was to create mockup advertisements that could possibly go into the magazine if they received sponsorships from certain companies. Two of the advertisements were for GAP kids. I took some pictures of my little brother using a DSLR camera and then used Adobe Photoshop to craft the advertisements. They can be seen below.
I also made some Coca-Cola and McDonald’s advertisements using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to see if those companies would sponsor the magazine.
Another company that AROA was looking for a sponsorship from was NFL Play 60. I created the ad below using Adobe Illustrator.
I also had to create a flyer for AROA Magazine to see if they could get some models for their magazine and website. It was converted to black and white so as to make printing copies cheaper.
After creating the advertisements and the flyer, I was tasked with creating some template magazine mockups using Adobe InDesign before the end of my internship. I created two design mockups that could be used for multiple different issues of the magazine. I also created two other mockups, the emoji and dreams templates, that were more fun and for single use.
