Music Beat Matching App

Music Beat Matching App

I created a simon says music app that lets the player hear certain notes that must then be replicated on either a piano, guitar, or MIDI pad controller.  The player will then receive a score and a certain amount of stars based on what notes they hit and the timing of each hit.  There are multiple levels that the player can choose from.  I hope to add a tutorial level in the future that helps the user become integrated to playing the game with little difficulty.  I also hope to add high scores using Firebase as a method of storing the scores.  I must also add persistent data for the personal scores for each level just in case the user does not have an internet connection.  Once finished, I will try to put it on the Google Play Store and market it to a wider audience.  My hope is that this app will help users train their musical listening skills so they can tell the difference between pitches and notes while also having a fun experience.  I built the app using Android Studio, which uses Java as well as XML.  Here is my documentation for when I was creating the app: https://alejandroalvarezcapstoneone.wordpress.com/.  I also have a video explaining how the app works below:

I also made a logo for my app as well as the app icon using Adobe Illustrator.
